The CM Forum!
Hi all, the Crew has announced that soon there will be a new forum – A Club Members only forum. You can currently give suggestions on what the forum should be called in this thread. The same rules will apply as with the normal forum, and the reason there is a Club member forum is “partly to give club members a nice and cozy place to hang out and get to know each other a bit better, but also to be able to give you news about upcoming features, a chance to test new stuff, a chance to have your voice heard a little louder” according to powdersnow, the PS community manager. In this article I will explore both sides of the argument whether we should or shouldn’t have a CM only forum, and there will be a poll at the end. Thank you to everyone who voted last week – over 1000 votes!
Why would it be a good thing for PS to have a CM-only forum?
It would be a good thing for PS to have a CM-only forum because it gives the paying members of the website more benefit for becoming a member. Thus it will increase the amount of members (or so they hope) and the Crew will get more money, which they can use to keep on improving the site. The other benefit of having a CM-only forum is for the paying members to have a chance to get to know each other better, and to have a chance to be given a voice. The CM-only forum may also bring Club Members who have not experienced the forum yet or perhaps do not post regularly to post more often.
Why would it be a bad thing for PS to have a CM-only forum?
I guess one of the prime arguments on this side is that everyone should have an equal say, and isn’t that a basic human right? What makes the Crew think the people who are not club members are not as experienced and so it would not be as good to test the improvements on the game with them? Can’t the club members get to know each other better in clan and fan cups, and in private chat? Don’t the Club Members have enough benefits? And I guess this is a strong argument. But the truth is the Crew needs to make money to improve the game and to keep more people playing.
So is the CM-only Forum a good idea?

Well another bad thing is that it gives CM’s an advantage to increase their post count up. But that’s the purpose of CM, to give players advantage. I think both sides of the argument are equal in my opinion.

Ahhh I agree kinda unfair in the post count way but so is the Admin forum so yeah but I think it’s unfair maybe it should be a forum for people with over 1,000 posts or who are well respected and get an honor to be inducted in the forum area.)
